BILLY GALORE!!

Billy Bookshelves are going at a low low price of $59 at ikea for only 4 days from 1st - 4th May! Grabbed 3 (2 whites n 1 black) of these for my room to dispay my Marvel toys.

Was contemplating if I should get the red one instead but decided that white will reflect light more n brighten up the whole display better. Anyway, used sis's FRIENDS card instead. Sorry Jon...:)

Can't wait for them to arrive n for me to find time to put up my toys. Look out for this space!!!

Munny Part 1

Part 1 of a long overdue post. It was quite some months back that i came across this 'Do-It-Yourself' Munny. Decided to buy it and just let my creative juices flow... Like something oriental. And thus the birth of my designer Munny 'Hua Dan' ...:) Still can't think of what to do with the accessories though...

Finally!!!

Finally managed to get McFarlane's Simpsons 'Island of Dr Hibbert' and The Simpsons Movie 'Bart, Sherri and Terri'. Bought them at 7 reds and 4 reds respectively from S****y Toys at Suntec. No choice since I've been looking high and low for them for quite some time already. Saves me the toruble of actually getting them from Ebay anyway...
Its cute how Bart can actually really 'skate' around the girls.Another haul is the 'limited' edition red and silver iron man figure. Not really limited like stated on the sticker cos there's mountains for them at C4. Anyway, a nice addtion to my Iron Man Movie figures.

Finally found time to take pics and get down to posting this entry. Found out that Iron man figures are out and rushed down to C4 at Suntec to grab them b4 they are sold out on Tuesday after school ended at 1730 for me.

Despite the fact that forumers from sg******t claimed that stocks are plentiful and that there's bound to be pegwarmers resulting in lelong, I refused think so cos I was 'sold out' by them on the previous McFarlane's Simpsons Island of Dr Hibbert. And thus on that sunny Tuesday evening, I was happily rewarded with all five 6" figures and a 12" Iron man.

Was delighted to find out from the forum that this time, Iron Monger, Mk 1 and 2 are practicllay sold out everywhere and collectors have been desperately searching for them. Glad that I didn't wait. At least I don't have to go seeking and having to by from scalpers in future. Even if it's true and the figures go on lelong in future, I'm happy to own them now...:)

Lard Lad

Went to CSC today. Saw Lard Lad priced at 4 reds. Owner gave me a green discount if I pay by cash. So in the end, it was a very good buy since I last saw it priced at 6 reds and 1 green.

Asked around for Island of Dr Hibbert and was told by every shop that it's SOLD OUT! Couldn't believe it as I have been waiting around for it for a long time and I haven't seen it around anywhere else. Anyway, guess I have to source for it elsewhere...Evilbay?
